The Body Shop and Tom’s of Maine: Still Cruelty-Free

PETA in their article have examined firms that are cruelty free. The author argues that a series of companies are still testing on animals. However, the Body Shop having been acquired by L’Oreal still maintains its cruelty free practices. The author argues that buyers want compassion across the board and hence it is mandatory for them to stop animal testing. Despite the expansion of L’Oreal into other countries, the author argues that they can still maintain and implement their cruelty free policies and encourage nations such as China to implement such policies because the number of compassionate markets are also expanding.
